Terms and Conditions

• New applicants* will only be liable for payment after their first 2 free classes. If no membership cancellation has been received, the student* will automatically be enrolled and I* will receive my first invoice.

• An annual affiliation fee of R400 is payable within one (1) month of my joining date and must be paid in full otherwise my membership shall be forfeited. Only affiliated club members will be graded and allowed to compete at events and grade.

• Tuition fee 

  R350 – Kabega (R300 per month for family of 3 or more)
  R350 – Springfield (Lorraine) (R300 per month for family of 3 or more)
  Project Bullyproof (R450 once off payment, 2 -3 hour workshop.  We work on bookings only)

  payable on or before the third (3rd) day of each month in advance whether I train or not.

• Training Times:
  Karate – Twice a week
  Bullyproof – Once off workshop.  Bookings essential

  Tuesdays and Thursdays
  Beginners: 17:45 to 18:15
  Juniors: 18:15 to 19:00
  Seniors : 19:00 to 20:00

  Springfield (Lorraine)
  Tuesdays and Wednesdays
  Beginners: 18:00 to 18:30
  Juniors: 18:30 to 19:15

• Students may practice at any Titan Karate Branch for extra training, with permission from their Sensei.
• All apparel must be bought through Titan Karate, unless it has been approved by the Dojo Head*.
• Pricing has been calculated per term, but billed monthly. As a result, January and December are charged in full.

• Titan Karate Competitions are compulsory for all karateka. Cost is R250 per competition, one a year. Other club or national competitions are voluntarily.  No karateka will be allowed to compete without a Titan Karate Body Warmer.

• All lessons taught by Titan Karate are confidential and in no way, will I transfer this knowledge to anyone other than my fellow affiliated club members.
• I, the undersigned do hereby confirm that I am the Legal Guardian of the person/s joining Titan Karate and indemnify and hold harmless the Titan Karate, Sensei Erwee Tiran, his instructors, organizers or anyone involved including the property where we train from death, injury, disability, all claims, causes of action, losses, damage, cost, expenses arising which I/my child may suffer as a result of my/his/her participation in tournaments, grading, training, any karate event, social activity or any event that is offered by the club that is not karate related.

• All members must give One (1) month advance payment together and R40 per month trained with letter of resignation to terminate membership of the club, whether I train or not. This amount is not a lifetime amount.  Your R40 totals will reset to R0 at the beginning of each year.

• Any special medical conditions that Titan Karate should be aware of should be handed in on a letter with the karateka’s name and a detailed description of the condition.

• This application is valid for as long as you are a member of Titan Karate, and all members will be notified of any changes made to the terms and conditions.  Failure to address any issues regarding the new changed terms and conditions within 30 days will be regarded as acceptance of the new terms and conditions.

• In the breach of any of the Rules or Terms and Conditions of the Tiran Karate, or general improper behavior by myself, the karateka or any of my close relatives, which will in any way badly affect the good name of karate and/or the good name of Titan Karate, I may be suspended or expelled from classes and will forfeit any fees paid or owing by myself or my family.

• I agree to pay the full tuition fee whether I train or not, while I am a member of Titan Karate.
• No videos of may be taken in the dojo.

• Some training days may be cancelled on short notice, due to unforeseen circumstances.

• No classes on public holidays.

• Gradings –  All the Titan Karate Karate dojos on one date. Cost of one grading may vary, and may not include the cost of a belt. If a Karateka should fail a grading they forfeit the amount they have paid for the grading.

• I agree that photos or videos and names (myself or child) may be used for marketing on www.titankarate.co.za and social media platforms, without any consent from anyone. Titan Karate, Sensei Erwee Tiran, his instructors, sudents, organizers or anyone involved including the property where we train canont be held liable for damages resulting from posting an image or video online.
• No refunds.
